It’s getting chilly outside, but that doesn’t mean the live music scene in Port Phillip goes into hibernation. The Palais is jam-packed these coming months with plenty of gigs to help keep the winter blues away.

Dope Lemon returns to the Palais with a bang this August. For their first headline tour in three years, fans will get a chance to witness the world of Angus Stone in full flight following the launch of second studio LP, Smooth Big Cat, on July 12 2019.

Snow Patrol – Saturday 10 August 2019

For over a decade, Snow Patrol have been making music that moves and swells. Their return to Australian shores offers fans the chance to witness masters of their genre revisit old favourites at this special acoustic event. This rare intimate setting will showcase albums like 2006 classic Eyes Open like never before, and spark love for some new tracks off their 2018 record Wildness.

Returning due to popular demand, flamboyant front man Marc Mantel is Freddie Mercury in the Ultimate Queen Celebration. Famed for his wacky yet informed take on history, science and everything in between, Bill Bryson will join comedian Julia Zemiro (of Rockwiz fame) on stage for a truly special event. Together, they’ll explore Bill’s view of life, from his world-wide travels, to his fascination with science and his latest deep dive into the human body.
