Thursday nights are like no other come summertime in St. Kilda, on account of the ever popular St. Kilda Twilight market. Beginning at the end of November and continuing through summer, the O’Donnell Gardens are transformed into a bustling, bazaar-style gathering, from 5pm every Thursday night, solving the midweek question of ‘what to do in St. Kilda’. What is special about this market compared to other night markets in Melbourne, or St. Kilda events in general? The St. Kilda Night market is independently run, and locally produced, which means you will enjoy the creative ventures of artists, designers, chefs, and performers from your very own extended community. The St. Kilda Twilight market has already kicked off for the 2018/2019 summer, so read over the details below and don’t miss out on one of the best things to do in St. Kilda!

Where do I find the St. Kilda Twilight Market?

The location of this St. Kilda event is tucked away between the famous Acland Street and the equally famous Luna park at the O’Donnell Gardens. Market goers can identify this spot by the canopy of palm trees above the market, the dreamy sounds of music and excited chatter, and the smells of delicious world foods perfuming the summertime air.

If you’re getting to the market by tram, hop on the 3 or 3a, the 16, 79, or 96 trams.
