Temporary Food Stall
If you plan to serve or sell food to the public at your event you will need to obtain a Temporary Food Premises Permit from Council. Visit the Business Permits & Regulations page to find the right permit.
Prescribed temporary structures require an Occupancy permit to be issued by the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) and require siting approval from Council's Municipal Building Surveyor pursuant to Section 57 1(a) of the Building Act 1993. Contact Council’s Building Department on 9209 6253 or find further information and application forms on the Occupancy Permit for a Place of Public Entertainment page of the City of Port Phillip website.
