The star baristas are serving up a house blend of Niccolo Coffee, with the option for black or white, with cow milk, bonsoy, coconut, or almond milk. One of the best reasons to come here on a Winter’s day is the absolutely divine mugs of hot chocolate. They get their magic from ethically-sourced, Melbourne-based, Mork Hot chocolate, which many would argue is hands down the best on the market. You can choose the original 70% cacao, or lighten things up with the ‘Junior’ hot chocolate with 50% cacao. Not into coffee or chocolate? We’re pretty sure that doesn’t apply to anyone, but if you’re just craving something different, you’ll be sufficiently warmed and satisfied by their spicy Raja Chais, or the Golden Grind turmeric lattes. Yum.
The menu is a take on the classic modern Australian cafe cuisine with dishes like smashed avo or eggs and mushrooms but with zingy additions like pickled beetroot, pomegranate labne, cured trout, or cornichon and caper hollandaise. They’ve got a few special dishes like pulled pork benedict, middle eastern cauliflower, house-made donuts, or hemp granola, that really set this place apart from the rest. Check out the full menu here and warm up from the inside out.
